I like Psycho but he's not very bright...

Very 1990s-minded...

A bit like Peter Reid and that dull wanker managing us...

Dinosaur brains...

Re: Stuart Pearce on Allardyce
Teddy Sheringham was sent to cast an eye over Sakho and came back raving about him being a 'natural' and that we should grab him while the oppo was there.

Sam then did his 'piss on the chips' routine (Sakho wasn't coming in via Curtis so you won't need me to explain to you why Sam didn't want to proceed...)... Sulli dug his heels in, and Sam's plan B was attempt to drop the purchase to a loan (i.e. something he could slowly kill off given time, just like Nene, Zarate, Alfie etc etc).

Sulli went ahead anyway. It's probably only luck that injuries put Sakho and Enner in the team together - we'll never know, but it does seem Sam wasn't considered the instigator of that change - possibly (as would appear to have happened a few times along the way) the chairman had to kick his arse and say, "You've got the players, now fucking USE them".

Either way, he clearly stumbled on the successful format, but of course as soon as his Curtis buddies were fit he shot it all dead.

The man's skin is paper thin underneath all the bullshit... we have all seen right through him, he HATES it, and he has been pathetic, objectionable and spiteful ever since.

Don't expect ANY of the pundits to back our ambition... to a man they have their favourites in the top 4/5 and don't want any gatecrashers - plus the managers circle their wagons anyway - it's as incestuous as you can get.

Stuart Pearce can go jump.

He is either retarded or hates West Ham Utd.

I've just not heard that interpretation of it before, and I've no idea if it's true. All that I've heard and read is that Allardyce didn't want to buy the player, and Sullivan pulled rank.

Presuming you're right, just how laughable would it actually be to ask Metz to take their top scorer on loan?

Vexed, that is a fucking truely awful disgusting thing to say.

Why the heck would anyone want him lasting past this afternoon or evening?!

kirok, that's the point. they think we should be no better than survival. very similar to how allardyce thinks

Re: Stuart Pearce on Allardyce

A? It's pointless to point out that you said he didn't want him, yet ita a fact he did want him. He wanted him on loan so what you said is a complete load of bolloxs. Which bit of that are you finding so hard to understand?

kirok1 8:17 Sat May 16
Re: Stuart Pearce on Allardyce
The whole crowd of presenters on there were pro-Sam.
Even came up with the line, 'Where do West Ham expect to finish?' As if we have no right to ambition and should stay in our place.

We were ok at times today but largely slow, unimaginative and toothless. Hardly a surprise with CFC up front.
Sam MUST go, before the crowd in the stadium commit mass suicide.

Stuart pearce must be related to Nolan somehow

It just seems like a pointless detail to me. Sakho was sent back to Metz, in tears from the accounts at the time. Until Sullivan stepped in to resurrect the deal.

Just seems strange to try and paint it as some sort of shrewd decision by Allardyce. Might as well give credit where it's due - well done Sulli for resurrecting the deal. Where might we be if he hadn't?

Nasty_Nick 7:57 Sat May 16
Re: Stuart Pearce on Allardyce
I knew you was going to say that! Which part do you not understand that he wanted him on loan to look at him and if he can step up? I thought you would appreciate that cautious outlook?

Re: Stuart Pearce on Allardyce
Nasty_Nick 7:47 Sat May 16

I've not heard that explanation before, which seems a long-winded way of saying the same thing - that Allardyce didn't really want him. As far as I know that is the explanation Sullivan and the player gave, and the reason why Sakho credits the chairman rather than the manager for his success.

Liked him as a player but he's an atrocious manager and a pretty rubbish pundit

I wouldn't ever say that to his face though

Earlier in the afternoon Pearce actually said he 'didn't know what it takes to be a successful PL manager'. So take no notice of the cunt, he's thick as pig shit.

I wonder how many players he put out of the game with his thuggish 'tackling'.

Re: Stuart Pearce on Allardyce
>>> BFS is very lucky that he had a player scoring a lot of goals at the start of the season

A player he didn't want, to be clear.

That's not true though, is it. He wanted him on loan to take a look at him rather than splash the cash initially. I thought you would have agreed with that thought process? It's only when we were not allowed him on loan and only a permanent deal was on offer did he want to pull out and Sullivan stepped in but carry on...

Re: Stuart Pearce on Allardyce
No, he's failed as a manager because he is as big a cunt as Allardyce.
